Renovation of churches and monastery in Wągrowiec, next to Poznań (Poland)

Description of the collection:
Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wągrowiec, Poland has less than
4,000 parishioners. This is why, we ask you for HELP!
Currently, the Pauline Fathers have been serving in the Parish since 2013. The Parish
includes a historic monastery, an adjacent church, and a branch church of St. Peter and
Paul. All three facilities require major renovation. You have to know, that the center has been
an important element of the cultural landscape of Europe. For centuries it has served as
a spiritual, educational and social centre, and today, thanks to the project “Cisterscapes –
Cistercian landscapes connecting Europe”, it has been awarded the European Heritage
Label. Their preservation is our common duty for us and the future generations.
What is more, the blue Coat of Our Lady of Guadalupe is there in the church in
Wągrowiec.
Our first goal is to save the church of St. Peter and Paul, and then what is on the list to do
Is the renovation of the church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Pau. The first to be carried out
will be the thermal modernization of this church:
● ceiling insulation,
● floor insulation,
● window replacement,
● door replacement,
● lighting replacement,
● heating system modernization,
● boiler room equipment.

We invite you to join us in protecting our cultural heritage! We want to combine our power
fundraiser that will help save this unique treasure. We invite individuals, organizations,
companies and institutions to join the campaign – everyone can join in the help by
promoting, donating or setting up their own “money box”
